BRITA WATER FILTER KETTLE

The water in our area is so hard we have to descale the kettle at least once a week, which is getting to be quite expensive. One of the solutions I am mulling over is getting one of the Brita water filter kettles, but the reviews on Amazon aren't that good. Does anyone have one and are you pleased with it? Can you use it for amking up bottle feeds?

they're a bit awakward I think (my dad has one) - kind of a kettle with a filter on top, and you have to filter and boil separately. Better is a normal kettle and a separate filter imo.

but def get a filter. tea tastes better and everything.

HA big fat HA!

we have the britax brita filter - we're on our second one now since end of aug, it's tonk, the first one just stopped working at the start of dec and this one the lid's tempremental on popping up at random times, althou when it works it's brilliant - just don't get one of those ones.

Yep
Do not expect it to last over a year.
They are great though, but I think you are beter getting a filter tap (£200) filter £34 and it lasts a year and then an ordinary kettle
Or a filter jug and put filter water into the kettle
The lids are crapola on the britax our lid is alos poked and locks shut att he worst time, like boxing day when in laws turned up
GRRR
IMHO
