What is the difference between a triangular and rectangular shaped leapster??

I don't mean the leapster max which is also rectangular just the bog standard leapster!!

I've seen a smaller more triangular one in a pack with the cars cartridge, it's silver and green and says limited or special edition. Is that what you mean.

The original one was triangular and the new one is more rectangular but diff to get in colours other than green. However I'm not sure if this is just a facelift or if the software has alos been updated.
