Can anyone lease recommend a good kettle and toaster.

The ones we currently have are now severla years old and getting a bit past it.

We have black work tops and a stainless steel cooker hood and fridge, so would like something to fit in.

Thanking you in anticipation for your help.

Breville 'lightening' brushed steel kettle. Can't advise on toaster - gave up looking and kept our crappy old one.

I have this toaster. Its huge and one of the knobs have fell off However the toast it cooks is fine!
I also have a russell hobbs brushed stainless stell kettle and the plastic handle paint is falling off and looks awful!
But ill use mine till they die.
Once you have decided what you do want, look on ebay as some sellers sell new catologue returns for a lot cheaper. Also argos has a sale on right now.

lulumama · 29/12/2006 15:55

thanks for that guys.....

have to turn the toaster to number 5 and toast for 10 minutes to get slightly toasty toast !

I have this set but in graphite grey. I think £40 for a kettle and toaster is quite good value and it is a reasonable make as well.

Fimbo · 29/12/2006 16:07

here is the grey

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH

I am desperate for my new kettle and toater to arrive. THey have been dispatched by company using City Link.

I have to go out today to get DD's hair cut and take her passport application to the Post Office and get a frew bit from the supermarket. I wentt out at 9.45am and got back about
midday.

I found a card through the door to say that they had tried to deliver the stuff at 22.40am. I now have to wait in all day tomorrow when I have loads to do.
