does this exist? I want a light to put next to ds' bed so that if he wakes in the night he can just press it to turn it on, but it needs to have some sort of timer or whatever so that it turns itself off again.

anyone???

DD has one like this.

It metal sensor pads/nobs rather than switches. You touch once to switch on. If you keep your finger on it it gets brighter. If you remove your finger and touch again and hold it dims.

If you touch the top button after switching it on, it will, slowly, over about 10 minutes dim until it is completely off.

I will try and google to see if I can find for you. We havent been able to find another one since so would like to find another one for DS anyway.
