i am looking into buying DS a highchair. i have a few in mind and would like some opinions/suggestions/recommendations please! thanks in advance.

i have been considering the fisherprice flutterby,Chicco Happy Snack Highchair, and Chicco Polly Double Phase highchair. i am beginning to wonder whether its worth paying £80 for a highchair as it seems a bit expensive.

please help!

This might not be what you are after at all but I have the beanstalk highchair from argos which cost 23.99 and it is excellent. It folds up easily and pretty compactly. It is very easy to keep clean. The tray slides off the front completely so again easy to clean and it means you don't have to struggle to bring the tray over your child's head. It was an absolute bargain and still looks new even after a years use. The only downsides to it are the straps only come off when you remove a screw but it still only takes 2 mins to take them off when you want to wash them. Also it doesn't have a recline so is only suitable from 6 months. Like I say it might not be what you're after, but I think it's an excellent highchair that doesn't cost the earth and is very easy to keep clean.
