Baby Born functions!

DD got a Baby Born for Christmas. have some queries:

1. The food - what should it look like when made up? Ours is a very thin, clear sugary type solution. Is this right?

1. Pooing - how?! Is there an easy way to this? I am sure we are having to try too hard to get this to work

Have sorted tears and weeing 9which it seems to do a lot). And have found the squeak, and the dummy which closes her eyes.

About to let DD take her in the bath.

1. Cleaning - how often do I really need to do this? And how many times do you run the detergent liquid through it?

The food should look pretty much as it does (though... and this is going back a bit) I'm sure that DD1's BB's food was thicker more like baby gloop!

The poo-ing takes a bit of practise. Hold the shoulders and push hard (iirc)

Cleaning.... as often as you can cos that gloop stays inside and it gets mouldy!

You're a lovely mum. I never told DD1 that it could eat (or was that I never told her I had any food for it? Hmmm.......)

She has seen the adverts - she knew it ate and poos unfortunately. We have one spare box of food, and I swear I am never buying more, lol!

my friends little girl ahs one and she says you have to clean it quite often, I think she gives it water to clean it through otherwise it gets a bit smelly!!

We couldn't seem to get the food to actually go anywhere, it just dribbled down her face and she didn't poo anything - but maybe we didn't push her down on the potty hard enough! I suspect the food will shortly get "lost" though. DD hasn't asked to give it any water yet...!
