Selling a car not going as expected!

So we are trying to sell our car privately.
After much research, we put it on auto trader for £200 less than others of a similar age, mileage and make.

Lots of interest, everyone that has been out to see it has offered £1000 less, as 'that's trade price'.

But we are not selling to a trader, we still owe on the car so cannot afford to reduce the price so much.

Any advice?

Have you looked at webuyanycar?
We've never managed to sell or buy a car privately. Sad

I did! Now being relentlessly emailed by them. DH thinks that they will do the same, i.e a good offer but will lower it on arrival. Cannot see how they make their money otherwise.
Just getting a bit fed up with the whole process.

We sold a vehicle privately at work & 90% of people who enquired were trade.
