I had my email to say the stuff had been dispatched and will be with me on Tuesday.

Nothing arrived all day but that was fine. It's all stuff for the baby so I didn't need any of it urgently yet.

Ds3 woke up at 9:30pm coughing and crying so I was lumbering up the stairs with medicine when there was a knock at the door!

Bloody hell!!

I know its good that delivery was made on the day they said but 9:30 at night is abit.....I dunno.....mad!

Usually I'm a "yeah whatever" trype but this mornig I feel a bit pissed off about it.
Would you have a moan to them about it??

I would yes, but having said that it could be them trying to be nice and getting it there on the day they said even though they got delayed or something but I would have preferred it to come this morning rather than 9.30pm

I was in bed by that time last night

pooka · 20/12/2006 07:41

I think that I'd be grateful for a delivery - what isn't urgent for you might be someone else's must have item so I suppose they just deliver everything with the same priority including evening deliveries.
But then I was waiting for an ocado delivery slot between 10 and 11pm last night before checking and finding out they're coming on Thursday instead. Grrrr.

bensmum3 · 20/12/2006 11:44

Could be deliveries are so many with christmas just around the corner they are working extra hours to keep up, I would just be grateful I received the goods, there are several threads on here where people are having to start shopping again because companies haven't delivered or stuffs out of stock and they haven't been told. But thats easy for me to say as I know my parcels will only arrive 3 days a week at exactly lunchtime

bundle · 20/12/2006 11:48

I think it's excellent, people far more likely to be in, in the evenings, i have to pick up a parcel (after leaving 48 hrs natch ) from the land that time forgot..

WigWamBam · 20/12/2006 11:50

It's not Kiddicare's fault though, surely? If you complain it should be to the delivery/courier company who delivered the item. I suppose they're very busy at the moment, so it's more likely that deliveries will be at unusual times - I don't think it would bother me too much, really.

Skyler · 20/12/2006 12:11

I think I would be quite pleased that I had it and feel sorry for the courier man working so hard in lead up to Christmas. They are maxxed out at the mo. I agree it is late but don't think it would happen at any time of year.

SherlockLGJ · 20/12/2006 12:14

When ELC took me to the wire last year with DS gift, they could have knocked on the door at midnight and I would not have cared.

And you probably wouldn't have cared if you hadn't got a poorly DS. TBH.

magnolia1 · 20/12/2006 12:39

To be honest I would be greatful for it being delivered at all this time of year!! I am still desperately waiting for Xmas presents to arrive

LadyTophamHatt · 20/12/2006 14:06

haven't the energy to have a moan to them now, and as it's Xmas I'm sure they are glad the delievries ae being made on the days the say they will be.
