I've bought one for my dh so I hope they're good

FredBassett · 18/12/2006 19:03

It's brilliant - very addictive for the whole family and great for kids reactions!

flutturkey · 18/12/2006 19:03

I love playing Bop it, but the one in your pic only has 2 arms. Normally they have 4 arms on them.

Glassofwine · 18/12/2006 19:04

was also thinking of getting one for dd (7) - so will keep watching this thread.

Whizzz · 18/12/2006 19:04

noooo its really good. You get hooked though (or is it just me !!)

iota · 18/12/2006 19:04

that's a pic of the kids one BTW , my kids love it ( as does dh)

CheeryGarciaFollowsTheStar · 18/12/2006 19:05

Who's it for? A couple of years ago I bought the original version for my own kids (then in late teens) and one for my 10 year old nephew. It was the best gift EVER and kept them all (and me and my brother) entertained for hours on end, for months. I am buying the Extreme version this year in the hopes that it's just as successful!

ShinyHappyStarOfBethlehem · 18/12/2006 19:06

Got this for DD on her birthday on the 12th; we are all hooked on it. Highest score so far is me at 75!

FredBassett · 18/12/2006 19:06

this is the one we have - it's been well used by all ages and we haven't had to change the batteries since we got it!

iota · 18/12/2006 19:06

this is the extreme

LemonTart · 18/12/2006 19:07

love it. DD1 is 5 and loves hers to bits. DH and her uncles seem to enjoy it too. Be warned though, for those not playing the game the noise can irritate you beyond belief - a game to join in or leave the building!

FredBassett · 18/12/2006 19:07

DH has the highest score here 162 !!

Ceolas · 18/12/2006 19:09

My DD1 (6) can manage the Extreme. My mum has bought her one for Christmas. I know it'll drive us crazy!

CheeryGarciaFollowsTheStar · 18/12/2006 19:10

250 is the highest score you can get on the non-extreme version. It all got very competitive around here.

Glassofwine · 18/12/2006 19:11

Right that's it - I'll get one tomorrow, anyone know if there are any deals?

paulinka · 18/12/2006 19:13

I love the extreme 2 i bought for DS1 age 9 but he just gets annoyed at not getting points! A bit of a bad loser at the moment.
Hopefully he will learn to love it!

paulinka · 18/12/2006 19:15

all the different bop its I have tried have been fantastic.

Unfortunately they are also really addictive.

Love 'em

NotQuiteCockney · 18/12/2006 19:31

We have a mini one and an extreme one. The extreme one is better, imo. But DS1 can't really work them, he's only 5.
