Livid with Mailorderexpress - what do you think I should do?

I ordered 3 scooters from them, showing as in stock, on 3rd December. Plenty of time till Christmas, no?

Since they didn't arrive in the 2-3 working days stated, I've been emailing trying to get info out of them. They never reply sooner than a few days after you email them.

I got a reply last week saying they would arrive in 5 working days - that would mean they should arrive by tomorrow (19th).

I've literally just received an email to say that one of the scooters is now out of stock and has been cancelled. The rest of my order should be despatched in the next few days. HA!

Have looked on toysrus website and can get similar - if I order before midday tomorrow they will arrive for Christmas.

Mailorderexpress website says that returns have to be made at purchaser's expense - that would cost a lot to post back 2 scooters by recorded delivery. There doesn't seem to be an option to cancel the order and there is no phone number to call. All I can do is email and God knows when I'll get a reply.

As if anyone needs this sh*t less than a week to Christmas.

Whaddaya think?

Oh thanks for that. I wonder why the number isn't on their website?!

IS it?

Ah well, I've emailed now to cancel the order. They'd better not send it as I won't be paying to return it and I'll be instructing my credit card not to make any payments!

Where is it? It's not on the 'contact us' page!

It's on the "information" link on the sidebar. I've had these problems with them too- I don't use them at Christmas any more, too stressful. As you say, they don't reply, and they certainly don't update the website. They kept reassuring me that a doll's cot was on its way to me a few years ago, long after it was in reality completely sold out. Grrr for you.
