I have recently got 3 pairs of very nice shorty pyjamas (all new) off Ebay - might be worth a look?

gingerbear · 19/05/2004 10:27

Asda, Tescos??

BearintheBigBlueHouse · 19/05/2004 10:33

Prompt and helpful as ever - thanks guys. As soon as BoyCubintheBigBlueHouse wakes from his nap we're off to Mothercare & Asda, or Asdals as we say in this neck of the woods.

i'm not quite sure if i understand teh question correctly, but i assume you need some sort of summer pyjamas?? if taht's so, i've got dd a lovely white vest&shorts, sort of embroidered cotton, absolutely adorable jymjams from sainsbury's the other day. about £5 i think it was. sorry, if i've got the wrong end of the stick here, but hope it helps

Bear, Vertbaudet do nice cotton shorty pyjamas for children of 2 plus (both sexes but bigger pure cotton choice for boys) and dd is currently sporting cute little minimalist all in ones from the same source. The boy's ones are just as nice.
And they deliver...
I find summer pyjamas quite hard to track down in British shops. Dd would have roasted alive in her babygro last night...

lydialemon · 19/05/2004 10:47

BHS has some, and they were even in the sale!!!

Grommit · 19/05/2004 11:11

bought some nice girls ones in Adams last year

La Redoute catalogue. The shortie pyjamas are the only thing I've really like from there! Packs of 2 for £9 (big boys - don't know about babies)
I also think Asda have them but I haven't bought any from there. Good luck!

Toothache · 19/05/2004 14:10

Funnily enough I bought 2 pairs from Mothercare yesterday on my way home! They we £7 each and on buy 1 get 1 half price..... so I got 2 pairs for £10.50. Lovely they are too.
They also had packs of 2 for £11 so you could buy 2 of those and that's..........

quick calculation<

4 pairs for £16.50.

LOL at calling Asda Asdal's! Used to go out with someone from Bristol (Brisl!) and that's what they used to call it. BTW got nice short pj's from Primark last year.

cocococo · 19/05/2004 14:25

Gap did some great ones last year. Skinny fitting, buy big and you'll get 2 seasons out of them. Little shorts with elasticated waist and short sleeved tops.

BearintheBigBlueHouse · 20/05/2004 14:26

Thanks again everyone - got a load in M'care and Tesco (love adding to their profits) yesterday.

Will keep an eye out in the other stores next time we're passing - but not so urgent now.
