Help me out please.
Been wedded to Golf GTis for 20 years , loved them,and am now replacing an old one.
Have around £12k to splurge so looking at cars 2-3 years old. Looking at Golf TDi 2l or maybe the Beemer 1 series.
(DH has a Beemer 5 and adores it.)
pros and cons please?
BMW is slightly longer by about 3 inches.
No Dcs to talk of ( they are adults) and a mix of long (5 hr) trips and short every day trips.
