Have ordeed some pressies from amazon and they have not yet arrived and as i am going away for christmas at the weekend if they ever do they will be too late. Had email over a week ago saying that they had been dispatched but still no sign. Has anyone had a similar thing happen? How easy is it to get a refund on "lost" items?

If they have been despatched a week ago they should have arrived - I've had 2 parcels this week delivered after 2 days. Worth chasing. (Bloody annoying for you )

Go into your account and e-mail them to say which items haven't arrived. Only ever had this happen once to me with Amazon (and I am on there a frightening amount!) and they sent a replacement immediately. I'd think getting a refund would be just as easy.

A friend of ours ordered some stuff from Amazon on Monday to be delivered to our house and it arrived yesterday and today. TBH I was amazed at how quickly it arrived.

Don't be put off, they are usually extremely reliable and this will be the fault of Royal Mail.
