What mobile phone do you have??

Dh is getting me a new phone after christmas. Its the first time i will have one from new (arent i sad), anyway wants a really nice one, what have you got and what do you think of it. Any recommendations??

none at the min and havent had for a month or so..was a sony erricson that was about 2yrs old but it has died..

It has an MP3 watsit, internet and email doo-dah and I'm sure lots of other fancy stuff but I have no idea how to make them all work.

I talk or text on it and take the odd photo.

I love it though...

I have a motorola razr thingy - I don't like it and I don't think it is good quality at all. Will be swapping once my contract runs out next easter

I spoke to the people in the Vodafone shop when I was looking at new phones and they said 'Never get a Motorola!'. Apparently they have so many software problem, batteries running down etc. Mine lasted just under 18 months before it decided to give up. They suggest either Nokia or Sony Ericsson for long-lasting, durability, good value for money etc. I get mine next Friday, my Christmas present to myself!!

I've got the Sony Ericsson K750i. I love the old fashioned bell ringtone on it and the camera is great, no problem with the memory stick cover yet.

I had a motorola last time and I hated it - the battery ran down really quickly and the clamshell meant that I was forever dropping it trying to answer it (batty old trout emoticon)

None, had a Phillips (iirc) and it caught fire quite suddenly after 6 months (couldn't find guarantee) in the summer and I haven't bothered to replace, as Dh works nights I borrow his if I need to and we get by like that. If I'm in Uni he's contactable anyway for the kids.

I have an very old Nokia. Possibly the same as Idris but really not sure. It does what I need it to do (i.e. not much!).

I've got a crap ZTE one (£5 from Superdrug!!!) BUT my lovely dp is (hopefully) getting me a pink Nokia 6111 for Christmas.

princess i did look at them cos online they look really nice but went into carphone carwarehouse and didnt like it once i saw them. Again i have a really old nokia at the moment and have been saying for the last year hat i was gonna get a new phone but have just never got round to it.

Work one is a basic Nokia - think I'm the only person in the world who can't text on a Nokia phone.
