Hi we currently have a toddler bed for ds (3.8),but I am having trouble finding sheets for the mattress.I am currently using one for a normal size single bed but its a pain to make as it overhangs everywhere. We dont have room for a normal single bed. So I have two q's

  1. What does everyone else use?

  2. At what age did you need to get a normal size bed (after having a toddler one)?

Thanks

have you tried cotbed sheets i think it is the same size as a toddler bed (i can measure if you want), but it is easier to buy cotbed sheets.

I did try our cot sheets but didnt fit.Are normal cots different sizes to cot-beds? We just had cot.

approx 56" x 27", you can buy cot bed sheets in mothercare, sizes very slightly but they are quite stretchy.

You are a star xx

Can I ask how old your ds is? Mine is 3.8 and still fits his bed fine. But was just wondering when might need to change it?

ds is 2.7 so is fine in his cot bed, but ds1 was in the cotbed first, depends on the size of the child ds1 was quite tall but i think he still used it til be was bout 4 n half, when he went into a proper bed.

Ds is 6 and still has his toddler bed. He just about fits in it and I often lie on it with him too. We've put off changing it partly because his room is tiny and partly because he sleeps curled up at the bottom anyway.

Still, we have picked out a new bed for him! Just waiting to see if it will be cheaper in the sales.

OOOh pixel that is good to know, ds has to share a room with us for next 2yrs until we either move or get extension so we really cant fit a single bed in our room as well. Hope your bed goes in the sale

Thanks. It's only an Argos one but it's the only one we've found that will fit across the room. Brilliantly designed house this, the room is about 3 inches too small for a normal-sized bed!
