a friend has just bought my ds who is 21 months the new vtech smartville alphabet train/station ... which looks pretty cool. it teaches them letters, names etc. he also has some of the fisher price little people stuff eg. farm and train. he has had them about a year and plays with them every day! my ds also loves his wheelybug ... megabloks and lots and lots of books.

My DD just got given some of the happyland stuff from ELC and she loves it. She also loves her playfood and plastic pots and pans etc, as does the little boy who I look after a couple of times a month.
She is getting some Brio stuff and some toy cars for Xmas with a nice garage to park them in. She is also getting some pens and a big pad of paper as well as a few books.

My DS 21 months is getting the Thomas Aquadraw and a red wagon/trolley type thing. I'm sure we will regret the wagon as it will probably become an accomplice in his nortyness but we have bought it now.
