dh hasn't worn aftershave for years.

he has asked for some for christmas.

I need to like it, and since ds have become v intolerant of overpowering perfumes.....most perfumes come under this category.

I can just about tolerate jo malone perfumes (even like a couple of them).

so I guess I'm asking, what are the very nicest aftershaves, and are there any all natural ingredients brands that I can seek out?

thanks

DingDongDraculaOnHigh · 12/12/2006 20:05

MrsMillsletoe · 12/12/2006 20:06

Aren't Jo Malones scents unisex?

JackieNoHoHo · 12/12/2006 20:07

There's a bit on the Jo Malone website about which of her fragrances are suitable for men.

DingDongDraculaOnHigh · 12/12/2006 20:10

get him some brut
or old spice

puddle · 12/12/2006 20:10

My dad used to use Pagan Man

MerryPiffmas · 12/12/2006 20:12

soph dp also hates aftershaves. Instead he uses fragrance deodorants
We both love Fahrenheit
Scent but not that alcohol top note you get from aftershaves

DingDongDraculaOnHigh · 12/12/2006 20:14

you could get some of this and tip a bit of your jo malone in...

Heathcliffscathy · 12/12/2006 20:15

I love Creed. Especially the Green Irish Tweed. Sounds horrible and old-fashioned but smells gorge...

I was given Jo Malone lime basil and mandarin and like it.

I dont like overpowering aftershaves either - this is strong initially but doesn't linger.

EniDeepMidwinter · 13/12/2006 10:16

acqua de parma

Bugsy2 · 13/12/2006 10:21

Penhaligans - gorgeous men's products. Nothing nasty & plenty of fairly light colognes as opposed to aftershaves.

Heathcliffscathy · 13/12/2006 12:56

am imagining heavy and italian....but obviously not....
