Habitat wooden bike - anyone seen it?

I'm trying to get a cheaper like-a-bike for DD and have heard that Habitat are doing one. It looks good on their website but has anyone seen it instore or, better still, bought one?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant so would appreciate the advice before trekking to my nearest Habitat to check it out!

I would have liked one of these for ds but unfortunately he is now much too big. I went in Halfords and had a look and it was a really nice little bike for the money, but only suitable for a toddler.

ds1 has a metal 'run bike', v sim to Pixel's link. he LOVES it. and Pixels linked one is 29.99 !! cant say fairer than that!

Oh, I like the metal one. How old is your DS Pixel?

Am pretty sold on getting DD a 'proper' like-a-bike now (investment as it will be for the baby too) but DS would loove that metal one. He's a big 4 year old though.

check ebay for other run bikes if that ones not big enough for your ds. mine came from germany i think, where they are quite popular so theres prob diff sizes available...

My ds is 6.5 but he has SN so has never got the hang of pedalling either on a trike or bike with stabilizers. His general balance has improved a lot lately and I thought one of these types of bikes would have been ideal for him but no-one makes them big enough . I suppose we'll have to get an ordinary bike and try to take the pedals off.

Not seen the Habitat one but found one (actually two) at Evans (www.evanscycles.com), one for £50 so half the price of like-a-bike. Have taken the plunge and asked parents to buy it for ds for Christmas.
