AOL Users - are you having trouble?

I'm at my wit's end with AOL atm. I am regularly (several times a day) losing my broadband connection. The site reconnects quickly, but of course I have then lost any work in progress/open windows.

Is this happening to anyone else, or am I just very unlucky?

I have dial-up with them and it is unbelievable slow/takes ages to open up etc etc. They will only talk to my dh as he is the main account holder. As you can imagine a Scottish person trying to talk to an Indian person doesn't work well .

we asre in France, and had 2, 1 second powercuts last week while I was on-line, which has blown up my broadband box!! We then have pay god knows how much to have someone tell us how to re-load it all, which hasn't worked. Why can't they just replace my box?? If we want to speak to someone english I get put through to Casablanca!!!!

Before this happened had only been on broadband for a couple of months and we had been losing connection, and the whole bloody thing has slowed down to an intolerable rate, just like it did in england. GGGrrrr... are all internet providers like this?

It is frustrating to deal with technical glitches - especially pre-Christmas when time is short for all of us.

I haven't yet figured out if the problem is with my phone line (BT is the supplier, and I have had trouble with the line going dead several time this year), or if AOL is the culprit...ARGH!!
