Micralite fastfold

Been pondering after my other thread looking for a very compact stroller that I can whizz around small shopping aisles with but that is also hardy enough to cope with going off-road on dog walks...

This Micralite thing has pneumatic wheels which suggests it's good on rough ground - but it's also very light and small. I've seen some reviews which either seem to love or hate it - can any owners tell me their views on it?

love mine......much better than a maclaren type thing. Easy to fold, whiz round shops etc.

Downsides:
says from 6 months but found my dd slumped in it until she was at least 12 months

very light so even my changing bag would tip the thing over once dd was removed...drives me crazy

Love mine too but I have a 2.5 year old. I wouldn't use it for a much younger child as the recline isn't great.

It's my car/town buggy. It's not bad off-road but we live up a pot-holed lane and we have to use the 3 wheeler for that.

I love mine too - extremely small and light and perfect as a town buggy, but as you say the pneumatic tyres can cope with a bit of rough ground.

The only downside as far as I'm concerned is that it's tricky to fold with a cosy-toes in place, but that's not a design fault, just the fact that it folds so small it can't accommodate a big bulky snuggle inside (BTW I get over this by kind of turning the buggy material inside out and pushing the snuggle forwards when folding).

I use mine for my 7 month old, he sits fine in it but agree it's too upright for a very young child - on the label it suggests it's ok from 3 months which is too young IMO. I wouldn't use it until the child can sit upright unassisted.

Love mine! Was my best baby purchase.

Agree with the shortfalls - does not lie flat, basket not very big etc. but on the whole it is brilliant.

is really good but child is a bit slumped - ds often leans out the front to see more. he's 19 months btw. it is fab off road. oh and i hate going down stairs with it (up is ok), take him out and fold it up instead.
