What would you recommend? Pref as a pre wash stain blaster and is there anything on this planet invented to get rid of the orange tomato stains that come out of baby food jars? I don't think there is but would be very grateful if anyone has discovered one

Hi KittyCC, I find Vanish stain sticks work brilliantly on everything (not the liquid Vanish mind you, or their other products, it's the stain stick version that does the business!). Orange tomato stains are a bit of a challenge though. You have to use a bit of elbow grease when you apply the Vanish stain stick and may have to wash and re-apply once or twice, but I've found it's the best stain-busting product on the market. Good luck!

I've been using biotex spray recently and have found that works on most stains although the occasional orange mark remains for a few washes.

I've been using 'shout' in the spray bottle (not aerosol) for years and am still using ds1's bibs. They're on their third chld and stil looking pretty good. It works very well on orange stains and no elbow grease required.

Thankyou, I shall put them on my shopping list
