motherinferior · 17/05/2004 11:57

What colours?

Am currently sporting rather nice V neck from, ahem, Primark for £2 which I can also heartily recommend.

coddycodcod · 17/05/2004 11:58

they are alsmost sold out got he round neck in pink but they are available in pink black and white.

Lots of lycra int hem so buy up a size if unsure
the round neck made me look like a tank.

have my am and s size 14 cap sleeve affair on today and it is NOT big! am normally a 12 here.

where else does good quality t shirts?

And the plain black linen dresses with a v neck back and front, nice shape, £30.

AND the £3.75 'space hopper' bouncers for 3+, brilliant for all those of us who have a bankruptcy of summer birthdays to buy for!

coddycodcod · 17/05/2004 12:55

golf caddy £1 87!

i don't know about the quality, but i love hennes ones for fiver in every colour under the sun. they have a lot of give (not much lycra) and imo are more flattering for it.

I have loads of these coddy ! In fact, I'm currently wearing a black v-necked one ! There is 20% off all clothing this week so they are EVEN cheaper !!!! They wash really well and are quite nicely cut and fitted. Ideal for us 5'7 32E'ers, eh coddy ?! Although I also made the mistake of buying a round-neck one. DISASTER, I was just a wall of tits !!!!!

NomDePlume · 22/05/2004 20:18

In my local Tesco they have them in loads of colours - pink, black, white, lemon, stone, pale blue, lilac ....

Tinker · 22/05/2004 20:21

Well, I bought 2 of these on the recommendation of this thread. Whilst they are ok for the money, all that lycra makes them ride up a bit.

BadHair · 23/05/2004 00:40

Matalan had some nice ones the other week - 2 for £8 I think they were.

Coddylicious · 23/05/2004 06:43

we hvae crap teco hence limited clours mehtinks, but friend has a turquiose one

Coddylicious · 23/05/2004 06:44

OH tinker no! sorry! are you returning them?

emmatmg · 23/05/2004 06:52

A visit to tescos for me today.

IMO you can never have to much lycra.

One question though.........did the round neck ones look bad because of an abundance of boobs? I definately would not have that problem so if they have the same lycra content might be ok.

Coddylicious · 23/05/2004 07:09

they look ok on me

think its t do with the length of your neck

NomDePlume · 23/05/2004 10:07

I would say that the round necked ones are pretty disasterous if you have a large bust, unless you they are v perky in manner of Playboy centerfold !! It may well help to have a swan like neck, but TBH, I wasn't under the impression that mine is particularly stump-like !

Tinker, I'm surprised that you found that yours ride up. I'm normally the first to complain about t-shirts being too short in the body and therefore increasing the risk of midriff showage(know that isn't a real word), but I found these to be quite a good length and they stay put on me.

hercules · 23/05/2004 10:09

I have a large bust and find no problem with them. In fact I wear it all the time.

hercules · 23/05/2004 10:12

Well, maybe not all the time......

Tinker · 23/05/2004 11:56

No Coddy, wearing it now! Too lazy to take things back. They're not terrible NdP, just hate any movement upwards of tops. The round necked ones look a bit high to me, could make you look a bit bullet-headed without the swan-like neck.
