i have a dkny watch and have been told at h samuels and goldsmiths that a new battery will be £30.00 where can i go to get it done for less?

In my experience have also found large chains v expensive. Have you tried smaller independent jewellers? My local one charges less than half the price .

My pound shop sells a sheet with LOADS of different sized batteries for a pound...obviously, being a pound shop

i have a watch..ellesse i think that has to be sent away to amintain the water resistnace guarantee

A lot of towns have those shops/kiosks that do key-cutting, engraving and watch batteries. Only thing is, like someone else said, it might affect your guarantee.
