My youngest is always getting ill so I am a specialist in defence against germs. One way in keep the germs at bay that is really important to me is hand sanitiser, manly because of germy environments such as Nurserys. After extensive looking I have finally found the BEST sanitiser ever!! It is s allergen free for sensitive skin, has moisturisers, no alcohol or parabens to protect his lungs, high germ killing capacity, made in the uk so I know its good quality. It called Nilaqua.
Has anyone used it ? Or have something they think is better?

But surely, by killing all these bugs you are opening yourself and your children up to getting ill more often as you are not allowing your immune system to fight them?

The few people I know who are obsessed by hand gel are the ones that get ill the most. I agree that there are very important times to use them and they are very useful, but surely not all the time?

@BateryOperatedBoyfriend
I see where you are coming from, however I do not use them all the time. Just when they have been in contact with particularly germy environments.

Do you ever use any sanitisers ?

I didn't mean to sound quite as harsh as I did sorry. Blush

I am a stickler for food hygiene and keep my kitchen (and bathroom) germ free (big Zoflora fan!) and I will wash my hands a million times whist cooking. But generally, out and about I don't sanitize unless for example if I go to a public loo and its a bit manky, I will wash my hands but also sanitize. I would also sanitize after being in the doctors surgery.

But I don't think I have ever put hand sanitizer on my daughters hands. But I do tell her to wash them after using the toilet.
