... are they any good? Or are they like a coffee machine - you use it once & then stick it in a cupboard Just wondering !

I have one - saw it in the loft at the weekend when DH went up there to get some Xmas stuff down.....

I liked it in the summer, especially if you're on your feet all day but apart from that, a bit of a waste of money I would say

Whizzz · 06/12/2006 22:00

Ta - I'll cross it off my Xmas list then !

you're desperate right whizz?

Whizzz · 06/12/2006 22:10

No, I havent got really pongy feet or anything - honestly . I've always thought they looked quite a nice idea at the end of a busy day but suspected that the majority ended up in a cupboard! MN has now confirmed my theory

Along with the chocolate fountains, executive toys, dust busters and optics sets for vodka bottles.

One year my sister bought my grandmother what can only be described as a vibrating heate foot muff.
Twas utterly ghastly and we still howl about it to this day.

She was desperate!

yes
waste of money - mine is in loft and every now and then dh reminds me and I get annoyed - I did want it at the time but its SUCH a faff to fill up - use - and then clear up afterwords

It's absolutely lovely, sit and soak your feet - they feel great afterwards. But I have used mine twice - I couldn't get the image of my Nan (God rest her soul and all that) sitting in the kitchen like the nan off Catherine Tate, legs akimbo, skirt hitched up and feet in a bowl of hot water. All the posh foot creams and nail polishes can't get the thought out of my head.

lol Housemum.
I'm a salt working in the fiels of learning disabilities and they are massively popular with a lot of the school children I see.

So funny to walk into a class and see a row of littlies solemnly soaking!
