I got my ds a marble run from early learning centre for about £15 i think. He's 5 and he likes it although he always seems to need my help with it.

there is one in elc but you can get wooden ones to which you can add bits later or Ikea do a more upright wooden one.

Posey · 14/05/2004 19:40

We got dd one in ELC. It was about 18months ago though and was about £15 I think. I feel fairly sure they still do them.

emmatmg · 14/05/2004 19:41

Yep, ELC do them as Linzoid says.

Beat me to it Linz

Galt make one - available from the usual "good toyshops" etc. Website includes a list of stockists by town alphabetically. £20 for the traditional marble run and they also do a "marble racer", £15 or £20 depending on size.

I think Letterbox do one too.

WedgiesMum · 14/05/2004 21:10

Asda do one for under a tenner I think (as in I know Asda do one and I think it's under a tenner.....)

binkie · 14/05/2004 21:23

perhaps while you're thinking your ds could have a look at a virtual marble run ? (I think Quercetti do the nicest ones but they're more birthday present than treat for being good AND their website only directs you to online sales.)

brilliant thanks guys. need to go to ikea (groan) first thing for sth in morning so if they don't have anything there will go to elc for one, tho am severly tempted to try and delay purchasing until sunday when we are going shopping at asda. thanks all
