We were thinking of getting this (single child version). The pavements where we live tend to be gravel so we need big wheels.

Do you like / dislike it??

Oh I thought you meant the film, but I think you mean Phil and Teds

LadyMacbethlehem · 05/12/2006 20:19

What, as in their Most Excellent Adventure or their Bogus Journey?

I think you mean PHIL and Ted's my dear

The pushchair is great BTW...

I LOVE it... and can push 2 childrens (whose combined weight is over 30kg EASILY with just 1 hand

however if you want it just for 1 child id be inclined to go for a buggy where the front wheel was locakable... ratehr than only in swivel position... cause i really wish i could lock th front wheel of the P&T!

that is my only tiny niggle with it!

i use one for a 1 and 3 year old!

sorry dueat44, didn't mean to sound like a smartarse! I just wanted to say that I thought the films were excellent.

wanderingstar · 06/12/2006 15:25

I've stopped using mine now that ds3 is nearly 3, but I loved it !
Easy to push, very comfy for ds3 - flat when he was tiny, and well secured when sitting up.

MrsMG · 06/12/2006 16:24

NannyL - you can lock the front wheel on the Phil & Ted's. Look at the quick release button and turn it until it clicks into place. This then locks the wheel.

nailpolish · 06/12/2006 16:31

i prefer the bogus journey myself

most excellent dude!

DingdongMegaLegsonhigh · 06/12/2006 16:32

Was about to say same Mrs MG I only found out I could lock the front wheel after I'd had mine several months.

Love mine but we have really trashed it!

WhyDooLittleStarsShine · 06/12/2006 16:34

They look better trashed They have been used properly, but like muddy 4x4 IMO

DingdongMegaLegsonhigh · 06/12/2006 16:36

You are so right LittleStars
I don't use the extra seat for a child anymore either but it's perfect for carrying lunchboxes and book bags.

tarantula · 06/12/2006 16:45

brilliant buggy and easy to push even when loaded to the hilt. Brought home our yule log in it last week . Ours is def what you would call well used and has been great over the worse terrain.

dueat44 · 07/12/2006 12:16

Thanks all. I think I'll get the extra seat just for shopping, book bags, handbag, etc .... tempting fate ...

I will try the films too!

if they dont yet come as standard, if you do go for a doubles kit at some point, try and get t5he rear mudguards as they stop little ones poking their fingers in.

NannyL · 07/12/2006 20:17

wow Mrs G THANKS

will be looking to work that out tomorrow!

NannyL · 08/12/2006 19:21

wahoo today i worked out how to lock the wheel on P&T and showed mummy boss and daddy boss how to do so as well....

well we have only had the buggy for 15 months!
