I've just bought a 'proper' pram for dd, and a friend asked me what toys and stuff I'm putting in it to make it cosy!!! I had no idea what she meant, but she said she hung toys from the roof and stuck a book like a murial around the sides????

sounds way complicated to me - a little jiggly thing from one side for entertainment is fine - also, little babies can be overstimulated very easily and so might find a "peaceful" pram a welcome relief from all the hubbub around.
