Where can I find the best deals on (?Pink?) Nitendo DS +/- games

DH and I have decided to get one for DD for xmas. Have looked around and can see the average price is about £100 for the Nintendo alone. Have seen a deal where you can get Nintendo with two games for about £135 - not sure if this is good or not.
Has anyone bought one for their child and where did you find the best deal?

We bought dd a preowned pink Nintendo DS from Game for her birthday. I think it was about 60 pounds and you would never have known was preowned, in box etc.

ARGOS... argos have it for sale for £119 IIRC.. they have a deal on where you now get a Nintendo DS + game for £100.. and if you spend over £100 you get a £10 voucher..... well thats what we did on Saturday.. have you tried looking at their website... (ours was black)

that link has a £20 delivery fee. as they are gameboy advance probably not best copies to be that cheap.

argos deal sounds good though.

we got a "bundle" for ds with ds lite, 3 games (king kong, crazy frog and cars) and a starter pack for £129.

great deal, only prob ds has told me he wants star wars games, so I may be taaking ours back!!

Too right! I tried to buy a pink one about 2 weeks ago (but only from stores with good deals) but they had all sold out, so bought a white one from argos. I think it was quite a good deal but tbh I used my accumulated nectar points and got £50 off (so there is an advantage to being greedy and shopping in Sainsburys). I'm also wary of buying packages cos the games are often not what you would necessarily buy - it's often cheaper to source a good deal on an Nintendo and buy the games from Play.com or Amazon who sell them very cheaply (eg I wanted Little Mermaid game for dd). Can you tell I have spent ages on buying one . Sadly I should have started shopping for one in about September like everyone else seems to have done!

I managed to reserve a pink Nintendo DS lite from Argos last Friday evening and collected it the next day. I was given a £10 gift card for spending over £100. Apparently, the checkout girl couldn't understand how I had managed to reserve a pink one because they hadn't had any in stock for weeks!.

I have tried to reserve it at loads of argos's within 150miles but no luck.

its probably going to be easier to get one second hand now.
lots of ds lites pink have been shipped from northern ireland just to meet pre sales. Then they have to stop.

I tell you if I do find pink ones I am going to buy extra and sell them on Ebay as they are going for £145 and upwards.

game did have a white one today - not sure why i want a blue or black just prefer it. but then i wanted the bundle agos/wollys do - god you cant please me. i'd feel worse if ds had asked for one - but then if he had i hate to say it id have bought in sept.

just went in to wollys and you can order it but coming up delivered on or before jan 8th - anyone had this before - whats the chances of it coming before xmas. if it don't can i take it back if i buy another as well. thanks
