My much loved, and much driven Citroen Xsara Picasso is nearing the end of it's useful life - and they don't make them any more. It's the second one I've had, both have been brilliant cars, and I'm really fed up. I've looked at the C3, which I don't like, too boxy for me, and I'm leaning towards a C4 Picasso. Any similar cars that you've been pleased with? I need a car with a reasonable boot as I'm a reenactor, and travel with tents, kit, swords, long bow, general camping gear, and with the Xsara I could take out the back seats and there's loads of room for it all (and the dog!) And warm and dry to sleep in if it's too cold in the tent!

I recently said goodbye bye to my beloved grand Picasso, I loved that car! Think they stopped making them about 2013 if you like them?

How about a grand vitara? Rav 4? Skoda estate? Volvo xc60? Peugeot 3008?Kia sportage/Sorrento?

Hi Greydog,

Have you considered the Seat Alhambra? With the seats down the boot is cavernous.

C4 Grand Picasso is a really good idea, there's so much space on offer I think. The ride's okay I just don't think it's as fun as alternatives to be honest, but if you're main concern is space you should definitely go for it.

If you're looking for something more fun then it'll be the Ford S-Max.

Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone - I have a hankering for a Peugeot 3008, which I might have to test drive!

Here's what to look out for: bit.ly/1G8YyDR

Always best to know everything about the car before buying it, well I think anyway Grin
