What's great? What's not? Got about four hundred quid to spend. Many thanks.

Mine broke recently and it happened just after the years guarantee ran out. It was a cheap one though a beko. However, this time I wasn't having any of it so plumped for the John Lewis Slimline, it comes with a 3 year guarantee and was 300.00. It's German made and fabby. HTH

I got a Miele for less than £400, it is a basic model but does all you need it to do really. Had it about 5 years now and it has been fab. Also have a Miele washing machine and have had it almost 8 years, can't recommend them highly enough.

Think this is mine or very close to it.

Agree with Porpoise, although I would love one of their funky fridges. We had a Smeg dishwasher and it only lasted about 3 years. We have friends with a Smeg dishwasher and although their's seems to be lasting they have to prop the door closed with a chair.
