Thanks corrina. I have been looking at that website. I can't decide whihc one would be best for regular use. There isn't a huge difference in price.

Some interesting ones here , although some look a bit strange! (Riedel's a good make, I think).

corrina28 · 01/12/2006 14:07

i think i would like one that sat on my chin so that when i tilted my head back it poured wine straight into my mouth. lol

I'm thinking around £35. It will be used regularly and we have stone floors, too much glassware has come to grief already.
We have a Jasper Conran Waterford Crystal one that was given us as a wedding gift, I'm terrified of using it.
I liked the ice one Corrina but dh usually drinks red and if I buy one that's for white wine, he'll think I bought it for myself (which might be true).
I would like a simple one with clean lines that will be easy in the hand and nice to pour IYSWIM?
My Dad has a flat bottomed port decanter, looks beautiful but it's a bugger to pour out of.

WhyDooLittleStarsShine · 04/12/2006 09:47

I think techno one too.
You don't think it will slip around in the steel handle do you?

i was trying to see if there was anywhere sells it so that you could look at it before you bought it just to check that this would be the correct purchase but unfortunatly i cant. if you do think it would move about then send it back and opt for a different one.

WhyDooLittleStarsShine · 04/12/2006 20:52

Thanks for replying corrina - I'll think I'll get one now with a view to changing it if he doesn't like it
