Re-designing pushchairs/carriers for under threes: what are your issues?

Hello there everyone,

I am a product design student, and for one of my projects I have been asked to "design a product to transport a child under the age of 3". I am aiming to create a product that makes transporting young children and babies around a lot easier, as I am sure it can be a difficult getting out and about.

So my question is, have you experienced issues when travelling with your child? This could include any problems like pushchairs, reigns, front carriers etc.

I would really appreciate any insight you guys can give me! Thanks.

I would love a way of attaching a shopping basket to a pushchair! If you could borrow a pushchair and a small chair and then try to do a supermarket shop (just a few bits) you will see how difficult it is.
