I've gone totally blank - and googled into a dead end.

My friend recomended a shop, which is 'a bit like IKEA but nicer', located near Lakeside, and not Swedish but ? (dutch? belgian?).

Anyone know this shop? It's one of these foreign nonesense names with too many vowels.

While I'm here - perhaps someone can recomend what I need: I'm looking for a chair which fulfils the following:

*tall and straight enough to sit at the dining table

  • suitable for breastfeeding. In particular, fairl high arm rests so I can rest my elbows on them and support lo head
  • comfy and supprtive enough to sit in for hours
  • Fairly bargainous
  • easy to find in london

appreciate any suggestions

we got a feeding chair off ebay for £127 (about £400 in shops) - one of those rocking ones with a footstall - fits all your requirements except the first one about the dining table - couldn't really do that with it! So it might not be what you want. Best thing is they delivered it!

Not sure which exact chair you mena but I bet the euro-furniture shop near Lakeside is Ilva , although ti might possibly be Dansk

ooh i hope someone comes up with the shop name. I know exactly what you mean - my husband and I googled in vain for about an hour the other night looking for it! And your description is spot on!

Will keep my fingers crossed.

Sorry - this post is absolutely no help to you.

Oooh, thank you, thank you, thank you Mrs Badger!
