Appointment only car dealers

I've been looking at cars on Autotrader, there are some I would be interested, but they are at "appointment only" car dealers, because they apparently only deal in "prestige cars". Has anyone gone to this type of dealer? It feels a bit odd, and I would more obligated, or that there is more expectation to buy if I've gone to the bother of making the appointment.

These are two of the types I've been looking at

There's one of those near me and I think it's just to stop timewasters, the place itself is nothing special at all, in fact it's a pretty small forecourt but as far as I know there's no more obligation to buy than there would be anywhere else.

I'd go for it, you know what you want go and look around Smile

To me they look like the type of dealer that sells a few cars a month from home rather than has a showroom/forecourt. So has to arrange viewings to get the car out of wherever it is kept.
We have visited one or two, did get a bit of a hard sell but were able to say no and walk away

They may have other businesses/occupations and/or be the only person who works there, so they need some notice to be on site.

Having looked at the sites, there's precious little in terms of 'prestige' cars on there - the S class is pretty much the only one.

Prestigious cars don't seem to be sold by either car dealers.
Bugatti, Morgan, lotus, McLaren are prestigious motor cars - not run of the mill everyday cars that you see three of every mile you drive

Small time business run from a house as a side line I would imagine.
Assaid above none of those are prestigious, they wouldn't even be classed as 'luxery' cars.
We looked a car years ago that was by apt only, waste of time as I like to browse at the same car in different colours/spec etc.
