A few months ago I came across details of a charity that comes to your home and collects baby equipment etc. They distribute it to families on very low incomes who need things for a new baby.

I live in London and I'm sure the charity was London based but I've lost the details. Any ideas anyone?

Local Catholic church should have a branch of an organisation called the St. Vincent de Paul Society, who distribute stuff to needy families (not just Catholic ones!), and will probably get someone to come and collect.

But be warned -- I gave all the baby stuff away this way, and three months later was up the spout again...

Just thought I'd bump this up to see if anyone knows about this London based charity I'm thinking of.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
