Electric shavers...

Just wondering if anyone can help. My dp hates shaving (as do all men (and women!) me thinks!) and has vaguely mentioned getting an eklectric shaver. For some reason I seem to think they are not very good, but am aware that I have absoluetly no experience on mens electric shavers whatsoever! I am considering getting him one for christmas but there are so many, and some are sooo expensive, that I don't really know where to start. Can anyone recommend any for £40-£50?

My DP also hates shaving, and bought himself an electric shaver a couple of years ago. It was about £100, plus the £50 we had to pay to get a shaver point in the bathroom, and he's used it, oh, at least three times! He says he doesn't get a good shave from it, and also that it's not that much quicker than a wet shave. I've noticed, too, that his skin is quite dry after using it. I know this isn't what you asked, but maybe you could borrow one and see if your DP likes it before you splash out and buy one.

Thanks MrsMuddle. No, not what I wanted to hear! But better now than later I suppose.....
