pros to Loola - folds up compactly and fits into my car boot (which few other buggies do!!), and is v light to pick up compared to many others. I find it easy to manoeuvre. Ds has been comfy and happy in it since birth.

cons - it's awkward to put large items in the shopping basket because of the design. I think it might be slightly wider than some other buggies but that's not really a problem unless I'm in a tiny shop!

Overall haven't had any problems with it and I do think it looks good.

WeaselMum · 27/11/2006 11:06

I honestly don't find it heavy at all & my main comparison has been with SIL's buggy which was a Mamas and Papas (can't remember model) and others I tried out in the shop when I was choosing - oh well!

I think it would be fine if you don't have older childrens hands to hold as it doesn't move one handed

WeaselMum · 27/11/2006 11:24

oh yes, good point xena - if I had to buy again I would look more carefully at the ones you can push one-handed

moljam · 27/11/2006 13:29

thanks,i was ready to look again after your good advise weaselmum but i do have 2 older children so one handed is a must, would it be suitable for older children holding pushchair?

oh - can't really comment on that as haven't got an older dc - think it would be okay - hopefully someone else can give you a better answer .....

i LOVE my loola! I was fairly limited in what i got as my car boot is tiny but the loola fits in easily and it is quick and easy to fold up. i dont find a problem with one-handed steering.

agree with weasel mum about the shopping basket but it curbs my spending!!

here

moljam · 27/11/2006 20:13

thankyou!very helpful.my ds is 11 months so im not really worried about it going completly flat, although in freestyler he does go sleep in it flat.do you have any opinion on weight and/or if it would be easy to manage with 2 children holding on?

sorry i sold mine when dd was about 4m old. we live suburban village, it wasnt just the one for where we live. we bought 3 wheeler. would have kept if we lived in town or city. cant see you can have buggy board, as its handle quite short. well worth cecking with retailers, and make sure its ok to push around.
