No i wouldn't. I would get a childs cassette player. The CD's would be scratched really quickly.Myy DD1 at age 2ish got hold of a brand new CD and bit it! Ruined.

no I would buy an mp3 if you really wanted to get something that would play music with headphones, you load the music they don't kill the tapes or cd's
there is a fab fisher price on you can buy from elc that we are getting for dd1, she is 6. probably wouldn't buy one for a 2 year old but maybe not sure, depends on the 2 year pold and the reasoins for thinking about it in the first place
