Where can I find a cheap portable stairgate/barrier?

We are going on holiday in 3 weeks time and it looks like DS will be crawling by then (had hoped he would just sit still until we got back!!). House at home already child safe due to older DD but I need to find a cheap portable stair barrier to use in our villa, we stayed there last year and 1 set of steps are v. dangerous to a new crawler. Does anyone have a recommendation or has seen one on offer, needs to do the job rather than be of high quality for everyday use.

hello
just bought a lindham stairgate from argos £19.99, fits to all door frames by tightening four dials so you can move it around your home, very easy to install and has a gate with great safety latch that opens both ways.
mothercare really over price their gates up to £30.
i noticed that argos sell alot of mothercare products for nearly half price.
i think argos sell cheaper gates too.
have a look on their website.

I got a Safety 1st one and left it at the grandparents house to use when we are there. Cost about £20 but fold up small so is good for travelling think I bought it in argos or J Lewis.

When we went on holiday and dd had just started crawling we just put an empty suitcase at the bottom of the stairs which was too big for a newly crawling child to move.

Argos catalogue? I'm sure they had a travel stairgate last time I looked.
