1 - has anyone's child hated being in the newborn bit with a toddler on top? my dd screams the whole time, but I think it may possibly be an adversity to pushchairs in general.

2 - how do you collapse it without dragging the foam handle across the tarmac?

3 - what age did your child grow out of cocoon as dd is looking rather long (but she is 3 months)

4 - what age did you start sitting them up? or put them in back seat?

5 - why does the raincover not cover newborn in bottom???? It's like an inch too short!

Thanks

  1. We did nt use it from newborn; had a marco.

2.Handle doesnt touch the ground when I do it. Take toddler seat off back if applicable, put on brake, take off front wheel if applicable, pull knob, hold handle, lower down to flat.

3.Bought our buggy at 5 months and ds2 would've just fitted, but I didnt see the need so sold it new.

  1. ds2 went in the back seat at 5 months, with a head hugger from another buggy. Now he goes in the front because ds1 is in and out alot, and walking alot, and i feel mean leaving ds2 in the back if the front is empty. Its also a squash for ds1 in the back so encourages him to keep walking!
  1. Is that the double raincover? Never tried it with newborn, but its big enough for two in the toddler seat set up. Is it on right?

Oh, and I vaguely recall there being some other clear plastic flap thing in with my kit, never used . Maybe be thats something to do with it?

I'll try and answer what I can!

DS didn't seem to mind the bottom bit when he was a baby. I hung various things for him to look at, don't know if that helped.

Don't seem to have the problem when its collapsed, I sort of lift it by that metal bit - I am quite tall so maybe I can just lift it a bit higher?

DS never went in the cocoon as he was an April baby and it was too hot but he wouldnt have lasted in it long I don't think. He also outgrew the bottom 'lying flat' bit way before 6 months so I put him in the seat before he was either 6 months or sitting properly. He was OK, and I saw quite a few others who's baby had outgrown the bottom bit and had put them in the seat quite early.

My rain cover seems fine - in fact keeps both children really dry. I had more problems in the summer keeping the sun off the baby lying flat in the bottom bit. Ended up using a muslin cloth and pegs to shade him. Saw someone else doing exactly the same thing!

As with all buggies it has good and bad points. Was great for me with only 22m between children, just didn't like the fact that when you use both seats, neither can be reclined but as I have 2 dogs and did a lot of walking in parks etc a buggy board wouldn't have worked very well.

my double raincover seems odd - it's shaped to cover a toddler seat at the back, but I'm not using it at the back cos dd is in the newborn bit and ds is in toddler seat at front. I'd swear it's 1inch too short!

use the single plastic sheet to cover the backsection for the newborn.
