Hanging a bed 'Canopy' for DD1 (without the ceiling caving in)

Has anyone's DD's got one of those girly hanging bed canopy things (eg. www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0285179.htm - sorry, haven't worked out how to do a link yet) as it's one of the things that I think my DD1 would love but I wonder whether if she or her friends (or most likely her pesky younger sister) tugged on it or got caught in it then ... well ... would it pull a chunk of ceiling out???! Are they easy to put up and, more to the point, are they easy for the DC to pull down?!

dd1(5) has one of these and she has never tried to pull it down but it is usually tucked behind the bed head, probably a good idea just incase dd2 tries to pull at it.
When dp put it up he just screwed a hook in the ceiling and we hooked it over.

Always sounds so simple when everyone else does it doesn't it - even with something like that we'd probably end up as a candidate for DIY SOS

DD managed to pull hers down, if ceiling is plaster board it will just pull the hook out of the ceiling, no big chunks unless you go for a heavy duty raw plug. I just screwed the hook straight in so that it would come out easier if DD got caught up in it.
