Antiseptic Hand Wipes...where can I find some please?

In a vain attempt to fend off tummy bugs etc I want to put an individually wrapped antiseptic wet wipe in with the children's lunch boxes.

Paranaoid aren't I?? I'm just so fed up with a nasty bug that is doing the rounds here and we've only just recovered again.

I can find bug destroying hand gels etc but my little ones might get in a mess with that. I want a wrapped up wet wipe that'll kill germs.

Anyone seen such a thing? I keep drawing a blank.

TIA

The only place i have seen them is inside first aid boxes, maybe try a first aid company, will have a look for you now.

You can get some liquid like they use in hospitals suitable for children. I've seen it in Asda but I haven't seen any wipes.

Do Carex still make them? They certainly did a couple of years ago when DS1 was a baby as I kept them in my changing bag.

Yes the liquid is great - I keep some in my bag for when we're out and about. The little ones need something like that but in a wipe.

Hey..maybe I can go on Dragon's Den with this one and make my fortune!

The savlon ones come in individual packets.

Make your own? (you have to scroll down quite a way). I guess you could stick a bit of kitchen roll soaked in this in a plastic bag, but not sure how practical that would be?

My FIL is diabetic and he gets antiseptic wipes for his blood checks. He left a load with us and they are called 'europlast antiseptic cleansing wipes'.
I have found a couple of places you can buy them on the web...

here
here
and hereLOL

They are fabulous, we use them to clean up wounds mostly.

Lol...vodka?!

Good idea though to put some gel onto a bit of kitchen paper. I might try that.

Thank you too Pucca - yikes quite expensive though. They seem more for first aid - although I guess they'd certainly work.

Fantastic DingALongCow! That's just the thing.

I would never have found any of this without you all helping though.

The 'hand cleanser' market is missing an opportunity here for the school lunchbox brigade.
