Electricity consumption for bread machines

Does anyone know if these are expensive to run ? I have just got a Panasonic, which is fab but I am worried that it is actually costing us more to make a loaf than to buy it...

don't know tbh, but we usually put ours on overnight so it uses night (cheaper) tariff.

Yes I do too but wondered how much it would cost on average per loaf... I'm too dense to try and work it out for myself.

It does cost more to make a loaf than to buy one.

But you have to work out why you're making it - I make it to avoid the nasties in bought bread.
