iTunes/iPods/MP3 players....help, it's only a quickie!!

Hiya! Can someone help me pls? Is iTunes specifically only for use with an iPod or can you use this software to load up other (cheaper) MP3 players. Thinking of buying DD a (very) cheap MP3 from Tesco but won't if it needs seperate software from what we already have!
Hope somebody in the know can help? Thanks

Have you got windpws media player on the pc? because you just use that to rip the Cd and drag and drop in my computer.

from the teens I know, yes I think that i-tunes is only for i-pods - you can't download off the site to anything else as the software will only direct the tunes to an identified mp3 player i.e. one of their own!!

if someone says different I'd be very happy, and wishing to know how it would work!!

yeah, have media player......will investigate further. I suppose I just like iTunes...it's so easy
