DS wants a globe.....with rock types !!!!!

My very very DS (8) says he wants a globe for christmas. Fine. But he insists he has seen one with animals and rock types marked on it. I kind of beleive him as he says it has limestone for the UK which seems quite specific. I have searched for the last 2 hours for globes but although I can find animal ones easily I have no joy in the rick department. Does anyone believe him? Has anyone come across such a thing!!!!!!

Or perhaps there is some PC software that does a similar thing?

They don't seem to have them online, but I'm pretty sure our local branch of Borders has a geological globe - not sure about one with animals on, though!

I know I know. I've looked at every single globe on ebay but drawn a blank. I can't even find any with the mountain ranges in releif. Just worried that if I buy one and its not right he'll be disappointed and I may as well not have bothered. He's really interested in rocks at the moment. Maybe I can just distract him with a rock collection

We have a fairly ordinary one but it does have the mountains in relief (and snow on top of the Himalayas) - it's this one I think

If you read the descriptions of each one you'll find some do have relief features.

Equivalent in traditional colours.

The black geological one has raised relief features too but it's a smaller diameter - I'd like to have a look at that one actually.
