We all use them when we go away on holiday to keep the burgalrs away. But did you know that they can start fires?
If you use the mechanical type(i.e. you need to push little prongs down to set the times) they can jam and overheat and can ultimately go on fire.
DP told me of this last night and we have now unplugged all the timers we were using.
Next time we go away we will invest in the digital timers.
Ijust thuought that I should warn everyone that uses them.
