Raincover for carrycot

Anyone know somewhere that sells 'generic' raincovers for carrycots?

My disgustingly expensive travel system came with the most ridiculous and ill-thought-out raincover for the carrycot: It's got a great big gap in front of the hood (you can see the baby through it, IYSWIM). Obviously it's there for ventilation, but if the rain is vertical, or from behind, then it just rains right in on the baby's face; water also drips off the hood and through the hole onto the baby.

Obviously this was designed for a yummy-mummy strolling down to Starbucks on a slightly overcast day, rather than a scummy-mummy doing school runs in the Second Flood.

I'm sure Mothercare sell them. I looked at them when I bought a new car seat one.

One here also oe that's a bit cheaper right down at the bottom of this page ?

Hmmm, all the covers that fit to the carry-cot seem to have this daft gap, but the ones that fit to the buggy, don't. I'll have to take my buggy to a large Mothercare and see if any of them fit it.

Thanks.
