Good kids music cds??

Can anyone recommend some good nursery ryhme cds that are sung be people that sound alive, as opposed to the ones with one half dead sounding person and a crappy piano designed to put children to sleep or bore them senseless?

i really want some with fun songs, and some traditional songs (like row-row-row your boat!). (i think our kids need something other than my grown up music - we're like that episode of friends with rachel singing 'baby's got back' )

We have this

There are about 40 songs on the CD, including Grand Old Duke of York, London Bridge, Oranges & Lemons, Frere Jacques etc.

It is sung by a class of (tuneful) primary school kids but it sounds great - very lively . DS loves it (and I don't mind listening to it at all!)

Not nursery rhymes, but we all LOVE the "There Might be Giants" kids CD called NO. It's brilliant - really funny and singable along to. We've had it in the car for nearly 2 years now, and it still works for us! We have another one brilliant one called The Magical Store, but I've forgotten who it's by. I'll check when I go outside next.
The key thing about both these CDs is that DP and I don't end up wanting the gnaw our own legs off aafter they've gone round a couple of times!

We've got 'my first album', it's something like £10 on amazon. It's a mix of play songs and nursery rhymes, ds seems to enjoys it, he claps along and dances anyway.

I've brought the christmas version too so I must be a fan!

Try The Kazoos. They are an Australian husband and wife team. The wrote the songs for their kids. They can get a bit much after the one millionth time you have heard them but they are real!! You can hear their music on their website. Google The Kazoos and they come up. Enjoy!!
