Have decided to get DS (8)a nintendo DS for christmas but will need to give him a couple of games with it (ouch so expensive). Was hoping to get one free with the kit but not sure what games to go for. Was thinking of the incredibles and narnia but then I noticed in another thread someone slated these "big" games and said her son preferred things like the brain training game. I'd passed this one over assuming it was for adults. So is it any good? Also tetrus but £30!!!! gulp!!!! So also any recommedations for good places to buy the games as argos only seem to have the "big" ones on offer.
Thanks

I would get the ds lite from argos with 'free' Super Mario 2 (great game)

My son will be 5 at Christmas and is also getting Nintendo DS. We got 'nintendogs' with it and bought 'Cars'.

Go into GAME shop and they do a section with pre owned games and they sell from £10 upwards. We are going to get a few games from there.

We have Playstation and Ds loves Racing, Football and golfing games so i would stick to that line of games

We bought ours from Argos for £129 and that included nintendo ds and dogs game, accessory pack and Cars game. Definately recommend GAME for cheaper games, dh gets loads of games for playstation there.

Peridot30; is that game.co.uk. Can't see a preowned section?

in the shop GAME there is a preowned section

be careful there is a difference between teh ds and the ds lite - ds is cheaper, ds lite is has a better screen

Enid · 17/11/2006 10:30

ebay is even cheaper for preowned games

bought dd one with Monster House and nintendogs. Everytime she goes into Game she always plays with the Brain training and mentioned the other day that if she was lucky enough to get a console, that would be one of the games she would want. Also I have heard that cars is good HTH

getting ds nintendo lite for ds1 from toysrus, with "cars" and "crazy frog racer" games included on price of £109.89.

My DS and DD both love Supermario too. They also like playing Mario cart. My favourite is zoo tycoon, I am proper addicted.
